Sally O. Miguel

Sally O. Miguel, 81, of Albers Road, Danbury, wife of the late Larry S. Miguel, died at Haven Health Care Center, on November 24. She is the sister of Aida Val and Jack Oliva, both of Sandy Hook, and Eurico “Rick” Oliva of Danbury

Mrs Miguel was born in New Bedford, Mass., September 2, 1922, daughter of the late Jose and Patrocinia (Gomes) Oliva.

She was a graduate of Danbury High School and the Crandall Secretarial School. She had worked for many years at the former Davis & Geck Company of Danbury, as a Quality Control Inspector and was a member of St Peter Church and a life member of the VFW and the Catholic War Veterans.

She is also survived by two sons: Larry J. Miguel, and his wife Elaine, of Danbury, and Ronald Miguel, and his wife Melissa, of Albuquerque, N.M.; as well as three grandchildren: Brian Miguel, Mark Miguel, and Tricia Brennan, and four great-grandchildren: Ryan, Karyssa, and Joey Miguel, and Kevin Brennan, and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Peter Church on Saturday, November 29, at 9:15 am. Burial will be in St Peter Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, on Friday, from 5 to 8 pm.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
