Police Plan Toy Drive At Plaza

For the third year, Newtown police will hold a holiday toy collection at Sand Hill Plaza on South Main Street.

From 10 am to 3 pm on Saturday, December 13, Newtown police will hold “Stuff a Cop Car for Toys for Tots.” Police ask residents to bring new toys to the toy drive, which will then be stuffed into a police vehicle. Last year, police collected so many toys at the drive, they used additional vehicles.

All toys collected at the toy drive will be given to needy children in the area.

The toy drive will be held in the area in front of the KB Toyworks toy store at the plaza.
