Indian Music At YCBA

NEW HAVEN — In conjunction with the exhibition “Traces of India,” Yale Center for British Art will host a free concert by musicians from New York City’s Kalavant Center for Music and Dance. The performance will be Sunday, December 7, at 3 pm, in the museum’s lecture hall. “Sounds of India” will feature raga (melodic compositions) in sitar and tabla, performed by Javed Khan on sitar, and Ustad Kadar Khan and Imran Khan on tabla.
