Helen Bridget Sheeran Kiely
Helen Bridget Sheeran Kiely of Wilmington, N.C., died November 21, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. She was the mother and mother-in-law of Eugene and Maryann Kiely of Newtown.
She was born July 28, 1907 in Jersey City, N.J., daughter of the late John Sheeran and Bridget Hennahan Sheeran, and was the widow of Dr Eugene M. Kiely. She lived in Hoboken, N.J., and resided in Wilmington for several years.
Mrs Keily is also survived by her sons John V. Kiely of Shallotte, N.C., and Tom Kiely and wife, Mary Charles, of Honolulu, Hawaii; daughters Joyce Rowe and husband, Harry, of Wilmington, N.C., Laraine Harrison and husband, Thomas, of Vero Beach, Fla., and Carole Acampora and husband, John, of Concord, Mass.; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, the Rev Joseph P. Kiely.
Mrs Kiely taught grammar school in St Aloysius Academy in Jersey City, N.J.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held November 25 at our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Hoboken, by the Rev Daniel J. OâBrien, S.J. Interment followed in Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City, N.J.
