Just because there was a lower than expected turnout (it had to be the beautiful weather), that didn’t mean there was a lower than expected amount of excitement at the annual Parks and Recreation Thanksgiving Turkey Shoot on Saturday at the Newtown Middle School.

The 9-12 division, for instance, went into a shoot-off with the LeBlancs (Bobby and Kevin) walking away with the turkey after sinking 5-of-6 free throws in the second extra round. It was the second turkey the gets to cook up this holiday season since Bobby and little Timmy won the 3-5 division earlier in the morning.

This was also the fifth year the LeBlancs won their Thanksgiving bird at the Turkey Shoot.
