Ada Frimpter-Olow

Ada Sinclair Frimpter-Olow, 79, of Bridgeport, and formerly of the Southport section of Fairfield, died on November 26 in Saint Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport.

She is survived by a daughter, Betsy Mathews, and her husband, Gregg, of Newtown.

Born in Belleville, N.J., the daughter of Charles A. and Hilda White Frimpter, Sr, Mrs Frimpter-Olow grew up in Southport, and had been a Bridgeport resident for the past 53 years. She was a US Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include four other children, Eugene Olow and his wife, Debbie, of Winsted, Karen Prancuk of Cincinnati, Ohio, Kathi Edwards and her husband, Donnie, of Bridgeport, and Holly Governali and her husband, Joseph, of Bridgeport; a brother, Albert Frimpter of Florida; a sister, Dorothy Frimpter of Bridgeport; ten grandchildren, Ian Olow, Bryon Olow, Joshua Prancuk, Matthew Prancuk, Eliza Edwards, Brandy Edwards, Anthony Governali, Christopher Governali, Megan Mathews, and Gregg Matthews, Jr; and several nieces and nephews.

 Funeral services took place on November 28 in the Spear Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. Interment was private.
