Stanley Joseph Wyslick, 78, of Newtown, died peacefully November 22, at Danbury Hospital. He was born on November 7, 1939, in Norwalk.

His wife of 52 years, Barbara (Reardon) Wyslick of Newtown; his children and their spouses, William and Susan of Portland, Conn., and Jennifer and Dawn of New Milford; and three grandchildren, Morgan, Matthew, and Tyler, survive him.

His parents, Stanley and Catherine Wyslick; and his brother, Edward, predeceased him.

Mr Wyslick graduated from Staples High School in Westport and the University of Bridgeport with a degree in accounting. He worked at Timex Corporation for most of his career until his retirement.

He and his family resided in Newtown, where he was a member of the Newtown Congregational Church and the Newtown Lions Club. Mr Wyslick loved to garden and spend time by the water, especially at the family home in New Hampshire.

A service honoring his life was conducted November 26 at the Newtown Congregational Church. Private burial will be in Newtown Village Cemetery.
