Shirley May Holick, 75, of Danbury, beloved wife of the late George Holick, died peacefully November 25, surrounded by her family, at Harborside Glen Hill. She was born in Danbury, August 8, 1938, daughter of Ruth (Conlin) and Jesse Dunlap.

She will be sadly missed by her three sons and their wives, Steven G. and Kathy Holick of Sandy Hook, Mark G. and Allison Holick of Danbury, and Kevin J. and Jackie Holick of New Fairfield; and her daughter, Christine R. Taylor of Danbury. Sixteen cherished grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; as well as her sister-in-law Joan Burlinson; and several nieces and nephews survive Mrs Holick. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Jesse Dunlap.

Mrs Holick was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who devoted herself to her family. She enjoyed vacationing with family and loved her cats.

A lifelong member of St Paul's Lutheran Church, she was active in the Sokol Lodge #30.

Funeral services will take place at St Paul's Lutheran Church, Saturday, November 30, at 11 am. Cremation and interment in Wooster Cemetery will take place at a later date. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, Friday, November 29, between the hours of 4 and 7 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Paul's Lutheran Church, 44 Spring Street, Danbury CT 06810.
