The Newtown High School junior varsity boys’ soccer team finished the season undefeated at 9-0-3.

The team was successful due to hard work and dedication. Throughout the season, team members played positions never before played in the past. Highlights of the season included a 1-0 win over Joel Barlow and a comeback win at New Milford.

The team was led by captains Brian Smith, Ryan Keogler and Brian Slattery.

The squad also included Dave Anderson, Dave Andras, Mike Bonsignore, Russel Cinicolo, Andrew Fiscella, Charlie Fulkerson, Caio Kowarick, Adam Konneker, David Kramer, Dave Kugielsky, Chris Malloy, Bill Mantz, Matt McFadden, Dan McIlrath, Matt Miller, Sean Rawson, Tim Robinson, Tomar Sedaliu, and Sean Wilson.
