Computer Society To Meet Dec 6

DANBURY — At its December 6 general meeting, the Danbury Area Computer Society (DACS) will have a special guest speaker: John Patrick, IBM vice president of Internet technology. The meeting will be held at 7 pm in the Danbury Hospital auditorium.

If past presentations by Mr Patrick are any indication, the event will be filled with insight about where the Internet is heading in the future. John Patrick is called a guru and a visionary in his field.

Those who plan to attend are advised to secure a seat early as this is expected to be a very well attended meeting. Also scheduled to take place at the meeting is the nomination of new directors to the board.
