Judith Anne Johnston, 79, of Newtown passed away November 20, 2024.

She was born January 1, 1945, in Plainfield, N.J., the daughter of Kenneth Codding and Carmella Codding.

She loved gardening, painting, photography, cooking, and sewing. She was an extraordinary artist. Her creativity and curiosity was endless, as she applied it to all aspects of her work. She was a woman of many talents and was always teaching her grandchildren new things. She loved hosting parties and spending time with family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and cheering them on at all their games and recitals. Her favorite place to be was by the ocean, making memories with her family who she cherished beyond measure.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bill Johnston; son Will Johnston; daughter Jennifer Cebry; daughter-in-law Rabiya Johnston; and grandchildren Ramiza and Waqas Johnston.

Funeral services were held Monday, November 25, at 10 am, at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street in Newtown. Interment followed in Newtown Village Cemetery.
