Youth Runners Shine At State Meet

The Newtown Hawks Intermediate/Middle School Cross Country Program team members competed in the Connecticut State qualifier meet on November 14 at White Memorial park in Litchfield. Vanya Donahers placed sixth, Josh Bents came in ninth, and Molly Begg was 15th.

All three runners earned the honor of competing in the New England Championship race in Burillville, RI on November 21.

The Intermediate/Middle school program starts up again with Indoor Track at Newtown Youth Academy on December 15. For more information go to www.NewtownHawks.com.
