Michael Silber

Michael Silber, 84, formerly of Bronx, N.Y. and a resident of Bridgeport for 30 years, died November 24, in his residence.

He was the father of David Silber of Newtown.

Mr Silber was born in Bronx, N.Y., son of the late Jacob and Sara (Schwartz) Silber, and was a retired engineer with Local 1331 in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Mr Silber was predeceased by his wife, Esther (Smith) Silber, in 1997.

In addition to his son, he is survived by his daughter, Eileen Larsen of Monroe; his grandchildren, Patricia Lewis of Trumbull, Frank Larsen of Fairfield, Dawn and Diana Larsen of Monroe, and Brian, Kevin and Alissa Silber of Newtown.

Services took place November 26 from the Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Road, Fairfield, with interment following at Bethel El Cemetery in Paramus, N.J.
