The Newtown Chamber of Commerce continues to host free monthly networking events open to all local business professionals.

The next event will be held at Sal e Pepe Contemporary Italian Bistro on December 9 from 8 to 9 am. The guest speakers are Brenda McKinley and Andy McCulloch of the C.H. Booth Library.

Their presentation, titled, “It’s Not Just Business As Usual at Your Library,” will highlight new initiatives and resources at the library to serve small businesses, home-based workers, and entrepreneurs in Newtown.

Ms McKinley is the library director and has been a librarian for more than 20 years, while Ms McCulloch is the head of reference, and has prior experience working in public relations, communications and fundraising.

Light refreshments will be served.

This breakfast networking session is sponsored by the Newtown Chamber of Commerce and will be held monthly on the second Wednesday of each month.
