First Diabetes Expo

BETHEL — The public is invited to Bethel Health Care & Rehabilitation Center’s debut free Diabetes Expo, Saturday, December 3, from 10 am to 3 pm. The facility is at 13 Parklawn Drive in the Berkshire Corporate Park.

The event is open to all ages and offers information to individuals regardless of whether they have diabetes. Anyone who has been told he or she may have “prediabetes” or who is a spouse or caretaker of someone with diabetes is encouraged to attend.

The event will feature a free traveling spa, hand massage, and energy therapies.

There will also be demonstrations and lectures on foot and skin care; sample healthy snacks for the holidays; blood pressure checks; and learn healthy examples of physical activity from the center’s physical therapists.
