Model Airplane Held For Safekeeping

Police are holding for safekeeping a radio-controlled model airplane recently found in a tree by a Grand Place resident.

Police suspect that someone was flying the remotely controlled toy airplane at the adjacent Newtown Middle School property when it went out of control and flew into the tree on Grand Place.

The resident found the fancy toy in the tree on November 13 and turned it over to police on November 24.

The airplane’s owner is asked to contact police Sergeant Darlene Froehlich at the police station at 203-426-5841 to identify and claim the airplane.
