William F. Reilly, Jr, 56, of Sandy Hook, died November 16 in Danbury Hospital. He was born in Danbury on August 4, 1950, a son of Genevieve Jean (Duda) Reilly of Sandy Hook and the late William F. Reilly.
In addition to his mother, Mr Reilly is survived by his twin brother, John P. Reilly of Sandy Hook, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mr Reilly was a graduate of Henry Abbott Technical School and Waterbury State Technical College. He had worked in the electronics industry for many years.
He was Commander of Sons of American Legion, Squadron 60, of Danbury. He was a longtime duckpin bowler, golfer, and loved all kinds of auto racing. Mr Reilly was also an avid stamp collector.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am on Saturday, December 2, in St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown. There are no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Dialysis Unit, Danbury Hospital, 24 Hospital Avenue, Danbury CT 06810.
