Tag-A-Gift: Getting In The Spirit Of Giving
The Newtown Junior Womenâs Club is kicking off their Annual Tag-A-Gift Program, working in conjunction with Social Services in Newtown. They will have tags on Christmas trees or wreaths in three locations this year.
Tags can be picked up at Newtown Savings Bank in Sand Hill Plaza, Union Savings Bank or Wesley Learning Center in Sandy Hook.
The tag will specify if it is a boy or girl, how old they are and something they wish to get for Christmas. The tags have an ornament attached to them that were made by Brownie Troop 157 of Middle Gate Elementary School.
The tags will be at these locations on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. The unwrapped gift should be returned to the location where it was picked up by Monday, December 11. If you have any questions, call Theresa at 364-1521.
