Monday Night Racing Opening Soon

The Newtown Winterset Ski Club will open its Monday Night racing schedule on December 18 (weather permitting). According to the team captain, though, “this warm wet weather Mother Nature is giving us, the transition to winter and cold temps for making snow look bleak. So you may have a little more to get to the gym or do what you do to get those legs in shape.”

The schedule will include races on January 1 (yes, there is a race on New Year’s Day), 8, 15, 22, 29, February 5 and 12. Make-up dates will be February 19 and 26. Anyone wishing to join the Winterset Ski Club and get in on the racing fun can visit www.wintersetskiclub.org.
