*BOB SEGER AND THE SILVER BULLET BAND will headline at Mohegan Sun Arena on January 20, marking the first time the band has performed in our state for over a decade. Tickets will be going on sale this coming weekend, at 10 am on Saturday, November 25. Prices are $75 and $95, and tickets will be available through all TicketMaster outlets on Saturday. Remaining tickets will then be available through the arena’s box office beginning Sunday morning.

*Looking for something different – or someone different – to dance off those Turkey Blues on Thanksgiving weekend? I’m trying to get my editor to take his wife to Mohegan Sun for this show because they, like me, like the HBO show Entourage, but I don’t think we’re going to get them there.

You and I can check it out, however: On Saturday, November 25, the casino’s Wolf Den will host a show by THE HONEY BROTHERS, featuring the always adorable Adrian Grenier. Showtime is 8 pm, and all shows in the Den are free.

Also this weekend, RONNIE SPECTOR will be headlining on Sunday night, starting at 7.

Until next week I’ll be seeing you... on the road.

Questions and comments should be sent to Shannon Hicks c/o The Newtown Bee, 5 Church Hill Road, Newtown CT 06470, or shannon@thebee.com, or call the office at 426-3141. Shows listed at club locations are for ages 21 and over unless specified.
