Annual ‘Scrooge’ Screening, December 4

NEW HAVEN — The Yale Center for British Art, 1080 Chapel Street, will present its annual screening of Scrooge on Saturday, December 4, at 2 pm.

 The film will be introduced by Fred Guida, the center’s film consultant and the author of A Christmas Carol and its Adaptations. Admission to the museum and the film is free.

The screening will be of the 1951 black-and-white feature film which starred Alastair Sim. Highlights from a number of rare versions of the Dickens classic on film will also be shown, including a few from foreign countries.
