Parent Programs
Parent Connection: A grassroots organization dedicated to raising awareness concerning substance abuse will continue after the first of the year. Please call NYS for further information.
Hope Support Group: Support group for parents of children involved with substance abuse. This group meets Mondays from 7:30 to 9:30 pm in the Parentâs Corner. All are welcome.
Youth Programs
Children Of Divorce Support Group: Begins Monday, December 1, from 6 to 7:15pm.
Sib-Shops Support Group: For siblings of children who have disabilities. Meetings are once a month and begin Tuesday, December 2.
Both groups are for children ages 7 to 12. For further information, contact Laurie at NYS.
4H: Grades 5 and 6. The next meeting is Tuesday, from 3 to 4:30 pm, in the Greenhouse at Fairfield Hills.
HYSAB: (High School Youth Advisory Board) The next meeting is Monday, November 17, at 5:45 pm.
MSYAB: (Middle School Youth Advisory Board) The next meeting is Wednesday, November 12 from 2:15 to 3:15 pm.
NYCAAP: (Newtown Youth Creating AIDS Awareness for Peers) Call for meeting schedule.
