Pot Roast Dinner And Holiday Concert

BETHEL — First Congregational Church of Bethel will be holding its Annual Yankee Pot Roast Dinner on Saturday, December 6, from 6 to 7:30 pm, in the church’s main hall. The price is $15 for adults, $7.50 for children under 12 (children under 6 eat free).

The meal will feature pot roast, mashed potatoes, vegetables, salad, and rolls, plus pie and coffee or tea for dessert.

Following dinner, a free concert by the Sanctuary Choir will be featured. Under the direction of Tina Johns Heidrich, the award-winning choir, accompanied by a brass ensemble will perform Joseph M. Martin’s holiday cantata, “Canticle of Joy,” as well as other Christmas music. The church’s Sanctuary Choir has performed at Carnegie Hall and by invitation at the White House.

The First Congregational Church of Bethel is at 46 Main Street. The church facility is handicapped-accessible.
