House Plants Fill The Gap
TORRINGTON ââ Avid gardeners view the period between a killing frost in the fall and the last frost in the spring as a long one. They often turn their horticultural enthusiasm to houseplants.
The University of Connecticut Cooperative Extension Service has booklets about Care and Culture of House Plants (17 pages, 60 cents); Indoor Gardening (47 pages, $1.40) and House Plants (32 pages, 70 cents).
