Mr And Mrs Peter Jon Andrews

Gretchen Anne Wiemels and Peter Jon Andrews were joined in marriage on September 16 at St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown, with the Rev Robert Weiss officiating.

The bride is the daughter of William and Christine Wiemels of Newtown.

The groom is the son of James and Joan Andrews of Winston-Salem, N.C.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

She wore a dress of ivory satin decorated with Austrian crystals and carried a bouquet of white roses and blue delphinia.

The maid of honor was Bridget Lee Wiemels of San Diego, Calif.

The bridesmaids were Josie Andrews of Charlotte, N.C., and Martha Noyes of Secaucus, N.J.

The attendants wore periwinkle satin dresses and carried hand-tied bouquets of yellow roses and blue delphinia.

The best man was Christopher Long of South Boston, Mass.

The ushers were Tim Wiemels of Powell, Ohio, and Gary Silvia of Duxbury, Mass.

The bride and groom graduated from Western New England School of Law and recently passed the Georgia Bar.

The reception was held at the Ridgewood Country Club in Danbury.

Following a honeymoon cruise to Bermuda, Mr and Mrs Andrews are residing in Atlanta, Ga.
