Plans Candlelight Vigil

DANBURY — The Northern Fairfield County Chapter of the Million Mom March invites the public to a candlelight vigil that will be held at 7 pm on Thursday, December 7, at the Danbury Green. The vigil will remember those who have lost their lives to guns, and will support the families, friends, and communities affected by gun trauma.

The ceremony will include an invitation to light a candle in memory of a loved one lost to gunfire. There will be a few words by local public officials and community and religious leaders, as well as musical tributes.

The vigil, co-sponsored by the Coalition United to Stop Gun Violence, will take place on the green at Ives Street in City Center.
