Jane R. Seeley

Jane (Rodia) Seeley, 84, of Stratford, a retired bookkeeper for the Bridgeport Brass Company, died on November 17.

She was the sister of Angeline Zakhar of Newtown.

Born in Bridgeport, Mrs Seeley had been a lifelong resident. She was the beloved wife of the late J. Raymond Seeley.

Survivors also include a son, Walter Joseph Cox, III, of Las Vegas, Nev.; two grandsons, Kevin Cox and Walter J. Cox, IV; three other sisters, Victoria Kolcun of Milford, Josephine McCashion of Stratford, and Mildred Feller of Milford; two brothers, Fred Rodia of Milford and Ralph Rodia of Oxford; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Phyliss Ranzulli; and two brothers, Daniel and Anthony Rodia.

Funeral services were held on November 21 in the Spear, Dennis and D’Arcy Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford, and in St Mark’s Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment followed in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield.
