Newtown Cultural Arts Commission (NCAC) has a grand idea: members are already seeking the art that will represent next year’s arts festival.

The 2022 Newtown Arts Festival has been scheduled for September 16-18. The festival celebrates the arts in the region with a weekend of music, art, dance, theater, crafts, food trucks, and a beer and wine garden.

NCAC is hosting a competition seeking next year’s festival logo. The winning art will represent the festival on posters, T-shirts and advertising.

Deadline for submission is January 10, and the artist whose design is selected will receive a $1,000 prize. Visit newtownartsfestival.com for full details.
