Tree Lighting Festival Planned

BETHEL — Bethel Chamber of Commerce will sponsor Bethel’s Annual Tree Lighting Festival on Friday, November 26, in downtown/historic Bethel.

Complimentary horse-drawn carriage rides will be offered from 12:30 until 4 pm. Hot soup, also free of charge, will be donated by more than 15 area restaurants and eateries.

Santa will arrive by fire truck for a 5:30 tree lighting ceremony, and shops and restaurants will remain open with special shopping and holiday treats.

The offices of Bethel Chamber of Commerce, at 16 PT Barnum Square, will be open for visits, information, and complimentary cider and donuts. Call 203-743-6500 for additional information.
