WESTPORT â Rabbi Sherwin Wine, founder of the Society for Humanistic Judaism, will speak on the topic âWhere Are We Going? Judaism in the 21st Centuryâ Saturday, December 4, at 7:30 pm, at the Westport Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue.
How will intermarriage continue to affect the Jewish cultural landscape? What is behind the return to traditional ritual among many American secular Jews? Will Judaism still exist at the dawn of the 22nd century? Rabbi Wine will address these questions and more in a talk that will cut to the core of how todayâs issues will affect Jews tomorrow and beyond.
