Christ The King Sunday will be celebrated at the 10:30 am service on November 21.The choir anthem will be “Shine, Jesus, Shine,” featuring solist Cheryl Rizzardi. Sunday School and Bible classes will be held at 9 am and the November coffee hour will follow the service. The Missions and Evangelism Group will meet on Tuesday at 8 pm. On Wednesday evening at 7:30, the annual Thanksgiving Eve service will be held in the church. Junior Pilgrim Fellowship members will host a pancake breakfast in the undercrost at 8 am and 11:30 am on Sunday, before and after the 10 am morning worship in the Santuary. Children and seniors tickets are $3, adults are $5, and families are $15. The Rev Steven Gordon, senior minister, and the Rev Janice Touloukian, associate minister, will be at the Church School Chapel at 9:45 am at the Church House, 41-A Main Street. “We Come Rejoicing” will be the anthem sung by the Senior Choir under the direction of Mary Andreotta. Two Native American songs, “Ancient Mother” and “Earth is Our Mother” will be presented during the offering. Philip Crevier will be at the keyboards. The Women’s Fellowship will host a bake sale following the worship service and in conjunction with the second setting of the pancake breakfast in the undercroft. Proceeds will benefit the many projects of the group, examples of which will be on display Sunday morning.

UUSNFC will have ONE service at 10 am on Sunday, November 29. Guest speaker Jody Grose of Bethel will lead the service on The Spirit of Earth Honoring Ways. Mr Grose discovered Native American spirituality about 15 years ago. His lifelong love of nature and animals is his link with his spiritual practices today. He gives thanks to his father for this love of nature, and to the Lakota people for sharing themselves and their traditional ways so openly.
