The Friends of the C.H. Booth Library sponsored its annual Fall Book Donation Day on October 27.

Hundreds of gently used books, DVDs, CDs, records, and puzzles in good condition were all donated by the public.

Donated items enable the Friends to raise money for Booth Library at the Holiday Sale, scheduled this year for December 7-8 in the library’s downstairs meeting room; the huge annual summer book sale, returning next summer July 11-15 to Reed Intermediate School; and the Friends-operated Little Book Store, open year-round near the main circulation desk on the second floor of the library.

Anyone who was unable to make it to the October 27 event can still drop off donations at their convenience in the Friends’ Donation Room. The volunteer group is set up within 25 Main Street, with a multi-room suite opposite the elevator on the library’s first floor anytime the library is open.
