Free Post-Thanksgiving ‘Christmas Vacation’ Screenings Scheduled

The next free movie at Edmond Town Hall to be sponsored by Ingersoll Auto of Danbury will be special screenings of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.

The auto dealer and service center, owned by Todd Ingersoll of Newtown, has been offering at least one free movie screening in the town’s movie theater since January 2013. The offer is first come, first served. Edmond Town Hall is at 45 Main Street.

Christmas Vacation will be at the town hall November 24-26. Screenings are scheduled for 1 and 7:30 each day.

Ingersoll Auto of Danbury will cover the tickets for anyone attending any screening. Regular admission is $3.50 per person.

The comedy released in 1989 stars Chevy Chase, Beverly D’Angelo, Juliette Lewis and Johnny Galecki, with scene-stealing appearances by Randy Quaid, among others.

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation is rated PG-13. It has a running time of 1 hour, 37 minutes.

Audiences have six opportunities to take in a free screening of "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" thanks to an longstanding series sponsored by Ingersoll Auto of Danbury.
