One Singular Sensation

To the Editor:

BRAVO! And thank you to The Newtown Bee for the wonderful and touching coverage on the passing of my lifetime dance instructor, Mrs Lathrop. Each June The Bee covers the Stardust Revue with a glowing review. Every piece in last week’s Newtown Bee, from the Editorial Ink Drops to the front page announcement of Mrs Lathrop’s passing and the story of The Lathrops’ lives with the great pictures was a true showing of just what a special person she was and what a gem she was to Newtown.

My three sisters and I were fortunate that our Mom & Dad gave us the opportunity to take dance lessons with the Lathrops growing up. Many of the Stardusters and I became family with each other and Mrs Lathrop and to this day, we are still dancing at LSOD.

Mrs Lathrop was a generous woman full of class, style, inspiration, integrity and love, and will be missed.

Thank you for portraying Mrs Lathrop as she was, “One Singular Sensation!”
