Zarek Christopher Layda

Christopher and Nicole Layda of Newtown announce the birth of a son, Zarek Christopher Layda, born October 31 at Danbury Hospital.

Zarek weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces and was 19½ inches long.

He joins a sister, Molly Rose, who is 4½ years old, and a brother, Camden John, who is 19 months old.

Joseph Mesinger of Meriden and Deborah Denzel of Southbury are the maternal grandparents.

Paternal grandparents are Richard and Patricia Layda of Newtown.

Madeline Denzel of Spring Hill, Fla. is the maternal great-grandmother and Anani Polchowski is the paternal great-grandfather.

Everett James Farese

Nicholas and Jennifer (Presnell) Farese of Guyton, Ga., announce the birth of their firstborn child, Everett James Farese. Everett was born October 10 at 12:54 pm at Candler hospital in Savannah, Ga.  He weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and was 20½  inches long.

Everett is the first grandchild of James and Cindy Presnell of Guyton, formerly of Newtown, as well as Nicholas Farese, Jr, of Fairfield.

His great-grandparents are Claire Miller of Newtown, Hilda Farese of Fairfield, and Steve and Mary Shuck of Stratford. 

His great-great-grandmother is Katharina Groneau of Newtown.

Everett is also welcomed by his aunts, Katie Presnell of Rincon, Ga., and Kelly Clement of Bridgeport, as well as many other family and friends in Georgia and Connecticut.

Kenna Donovyn Gioffre

Tony and Rouxle Gioffre and big sisters Malia and Kaia of Newtown welcome with love Kenna Donovyn Gioffre to their family.

Kenna was born October 26 at Danbury Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20 inches in length.
