About 10:42 pm November 10, motorist William Smith, 57, of Sherman was driving a 2006 Mercedes-Benz sedan eastward on Mt Pleasant Road, when a deer enterhed the roadway, police report. The auto and the deer collided. Smith was not injured. Police took no enforcement.
Toyota Vs Acura
Motorist Marilyn Atkinson, 74, of Westwood Terrace, who was driving a 2006 Toyota sedan northward on Saw Mill Road about 11:47 am November 9, stopped at a stop sign at that streetâs intersection with Mt Pleasant Road, according to police.
The Toyota then pulled out onto Mt Pleasant Road, but collided there with a westbound 1999 Acura sedan driven by Robert Bassett, 59, of Monitor Hill Road, police said.
 There were no injuries. Police issued Atkinson a written warning for failure to grant the right of way at a stop sign.
Three MV Violations
On November 15, police charged motorist Stephanie Espinal, 20, of Danbury with a taillamp violation, with driving with a suspended vehicle registration, and with failure to display a marker plate. Police released Espinal on a written promise to appear December 5 in Danbury Superior Court.
SUV Into Pole
About 5:08 pm November 8, motorist Janneth Astudilio, 24, of Danbury was driving a 1996 Ford Explorer northward on Mt Nebo Road, when a northbound noncontact vehicle, which was in front of the Ford, stopped in order to make a left turn into a driveway at 18 Mt Nebo Road, police said.
The Ford served to the right to avoid hitting the vehicle, but instead sideswiped a utility pole, police said. Neither Astudilio, nor three passengers in the Ford, were injured.
Police verbally warned Astudilio for making a restricted turn.
