McGill And McDuff

Heather McGill and her horse, McDuff, recently won their divisions at the Stoneleigh Burnham School Horse Trials in Greenfield, Massachusetts, and the Kent School Horse Trials in Kent. Heather lives in Newtown and is a junior at Nonnewaug High School. McDuff is a 15-year-old thoroughbred who is a descendent of War Admiral. They are now qualified for the American Eventing Championships to be held next September at Lamplight Equestrian Center in Wayne, Illinois.  Heather and McDuff are pictured with their trainer, Amie Kersey, at Willow Creek Farm in Southbury. – Photo courtesy of Cindy Arendt
