Amadeu Santos, 63, of Trumbull died November 10 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with his loving family by his side. Born in Gralheira, Conselho de Vilha Pouca Ve Aquiar, Portugal, on June 27, 1943, he was the son of the late Ilidio Santos and Laura Botelho Santos of Trumbull.

Survivors include his beloved family, his wife, Barbara Morrow Santos; three sisters, Patricia Jaoquim of Newtown, Prezeres Ferreira of Shelton, and Tina Dias of Portugal; one brother, Anthony Santos of Trumbull; one son, Luis Santos and fiancée, Silvya, of Ansonia; two daughters, Lisa McAllister and husband, Steven, of Stratford, and Linda Smith and husband, James, of Braintree, Mass.; four grandchildren, Sean and Jessica Santos and Aidan and Corbin Smith; one great-grandchild, Atiana; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Ana Santos; one brother, Alrelindo Santos; and one sister, Gail Palumbo.

Mr Santos was the owner of Trumbull Construction Company and was an area resident for 51 years. Funeral services were held November 13 in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, Bridgeport, and in Our Lady of Fatima Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
