Jerry King has performed in cabaret shows in New York and Connecticut, as well as many summer stock parts in New England. He has appeared in productions of Annie Get your Gun, Carousel, Showboat, Anything Goes, Guys and Dolls, and many other shows.

Mr King has also performed as a backup singer for Liza Minnelli, and in the United Nations Live television broadcast.
Like her husband, Peggy King has studied voice in New York. She has returned to performing duets with her husband following retirement from a career teaching in public schools and as an adjunct college professor.
Arnie Gross, the creator of dance and vocal arrangements for several Broadway shows and motion pictures, accompanied the Kings on piano. Mr Grossâ credits include Steven Sondheimâs Merrily We Roll Along and Sugar Babies, and the Bob Fosse film All That Jazz, as well as having served as musical director for the final three years of the original Broadway company of Annie. He served as the associate conductor of the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra for six years and taught orchestration and music theory at Western Connecticut University. Mr Gross presently teaches instrumental ensemble at Canterbury School in New Milford and the Housatonic Valley School in Newtown.
Beginning with a medley of waltzes, the Kings crooned their way through familiar melodies such as âA Wonderful Guyâ and âDo I Hear A Waltz?â as well as âPeople Will Say Weâre in Love,â and âThere Is Nothinâ Like A Dame.â âGetting To Know Youâ provided audience members who wished to the opportunity to join in the fun.
The Kings and Mr Gross finished up the afternoon performance with a medley of other Rodgers songs and the classic âClimb Evâry Mountain,â ensuring that everyone left with The Sound of Music ringing in their ears.
