The music centre’s Messiah has been an annual tradition since 1966. The performance this year will take place on Sunday, December 19, at 7:30 pm, at St Peter Church.

The chorus will be joined by an orchestra, harpsichord, organ and soloists. The performance will be directed by James E. Humphreville.

Rehearsals begin on Tuesday, November 23, at 7:30 pm, at Danbury Music Centre, 256 Main Street in Danbury. There will be four Tuesday rehearsals and a Friday, December 17, dress rehearsal.

Singers who do not own their own score (Schirmer edition) may borrow one from the music centre while the limited supply lasts.
