A Holiday Soiree At The Aldrich

RIDGEFIELD — Peggy Cone and The Central Park Stompers’, a five-piece swing band, will again set toes a-tappin’ at The Aldrich Museum’s annual holiday soiree. On Sunday, December 5, from 4 to 6 pm, The Aldrich Museum will welcome the community.

Cost is $10 per family. Reservations are recommended but not required. Guests can see some old friends, meet some new ones, and enjoy the party while checking out the evocative exhibitions “Best of the Season” and “Playing Off Time.”

Back in Ridgefield by popular demand, Peggy Cone and The Central Park Stompers perform fabulous gems from a bygone era. Swing to the tunes of Louie Prima, Big Joe Turner and Ruth Brown while Ms Cone’s vintage costumes twirl the evening into an infectious, fun affair. The kids are invited to a festive workshop for creating fun, decorative wrapping paper.
