To the Editor:

I want to thank the Newtown High School Leos Club for their terrific turnout on Saturday, November 7, at Orchard Hill. They were participants in the Lions Club semi annual Orchard Hill Clean Up day. There were eighteen of them helping the ten Lions who participated.

The Leos raked and cleared the trails, cleaned brush, and marked the trails. They also did a great job demolishing the doughnuts so kindly provided by Dunkin’ Doughnuts. Many thanks to Jill Gonski, their excellent advisor, who also was present, and to Steve Bennett, our Lion who works with the Leos.

It was a great day and we got a lot done.
