She is survived by her children Peter Solheim, and his wife Janis, and Lisa DeVellis, and her husband Kenneth, all of Newtown, Carol Solheim, and her husband Ranjit Santiago, of Norwalk, and Gregory Solheim of Southbury; her grandchildren Anja and Kirsten Santiago, Erik and Sean Solheim, Shannon, Shelley, and Renee Solheim, Kimberly Solheim West, Sarah DeVellis Adams, and Corey and Joseph DeVellis; her sister Patricia Kitteridge; and eight great-grandchildren. Her sister, Trine Karlsen, predeceased her.

The family would like to thank Notre Dame Convalescent Home for the loving and compassionate care Mrs Solheim received there, in her long struggle with dementia.

Funeral services will take place Wednesday, November 18, at 10:30 am, at Carpino Funeral Home, 750 Main Street South, Southbury.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Notre Dame Convalescent Home, 76 West Rocks Road, Norwalk CT 06851, would be appreciated.
