Three Danbury Men Arrested In Sandy Hook Incident

Police said they responded to a report about noon on November 9 which informed them that three men were attempting to gain entry to a home near the intersection of Pole Bridge Road, Philo Curtis Road, Jeremiah Road, and Misty Vale Road.

Police said they then located a vehicle near 44 Berkshire Road matching the description of the vehicle described in the report.

After investigating police said they arrested each of three Danbury men on five conspiracy charges in connection with the incident at the house.

Police said they arrested Armando Guzman, 18; Victor Benitez-Solorzano, 19; and Alejandro Remidio, 18, each on charges of conspiracy to commit: third-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespassing, sixth-degree larceny, third-degree criminal mischief, and destruction of evidence.

Additionally, police charged Guzman with driving with a suspended license.

Following arrest processing, each man was released on $5,000 bail for November 27 court appearances, according to police.
