Holiday Tea In Historic House

DANBURY — The Danbury Museum & Historical Society has added two additional days, one seating per day, to its fifth annual Holiday Tea in the Historic Rider House. The popular event will be hosted Thursday through Saturday, November 29 to December 1, from noon to 1:30 pm each day.

Cost is $25 per person and includes a selection of fine teas, sandwiches, savories, sweets, and entertainment.

Attendees can also chat with museum staff about Victorian tea traditions, customs, clothing, and more at the 1785 Colonial home located at 43 Main Street.

The historical society’s Annual Holiday Bazaar will be running concurrently to the tea event. Handcrafted items, including candles, jewelry, quilts and gift shops items will be on sale during the event, which opens November 24 and will continue through December 22.
