Christine H. Batura

Christine H. Batura, 65, beloved wife of William Batura for 45 years, died November 13, in Bridgeport Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born in England, she was the daughter of Czeslawa Wasicki and the late Walter Wasicki.

Her primary concern was for her family, which included a brother, Henry Wasicki of Newtown; and her children Thomas W. and Susan Batura of Trumbull, David J. Batura of Milford, Debbie Canbareri of Redding, and Michele and Brad Hoben of Medway, Mass.; six grandchildren; and several other relatives.

Funeral services were scheduled for Friday, November 16, at 11:30 am, directly at Holy Family Church, 700 Old Stratfield Road, Fairfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours were scheduled for Thursday, November 15, from 4 to 7 pm, at Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, Trumbull.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, PO Box 1145, Alexandria VA 22312.
