Adopt From The Animal Center

The following cats and dogs are among those available for adoption through The Animal Center

MONKEY is a playful, zany and friendly 3 month old kitten for adoption. He gets along well with everyone he meets. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

LUCY was brought to a high kill shelter with a broken front leg and a bullet wound to the back leg. Because her broken leg had gone untreated, Lucy’s leg could not be rehabilitated and she had to have her back leg amputated. She has made a full recovery and is incredibly mobile on three legs. Lucy holds no malice against humans as she is as sweet and loving with everyone she meets.  Lucy is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

LENNIE is a very friendly Labrador Retriever mix for adoption. He is friendly, neutered and current on vaccines.

EMMA is a very friendly, high energy German Shepherd female mix for adoption. She is very sweet, approximately 1-2 years old. Emma loves children and other dogs and would do great in an active home. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

SQUIGGY is a Labrador Retriever Mix who is approx 14 weeks old. Squiggy gets along very well with people, including children, and cats, and he’s very sweet. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

CANDY is 16 week old female lab mix. She is very sweet, easy going and loves to be loved. She is spayed and current on vaccines.

The Animal Center is an all volunteer, non-profit animal welfare charity. Since its founding in 2004, The Animal Center has rescued and found homes for more than 1,800 dogs, cats, kittens, and puppies, many of which were special needs animals. Animal Center officials have accomplished this entirely through a grassroots foster network while working toward the dream of building a sanctuary where all creatures, large and small, are rescued, respected, and loved. The Animal Center is a 501 (c)3 publicly-supported charity and relies heavily on the support of the public and volunteers.
