Paying Tribute

To the Editor:

On Friday, November 11, Newtown High School paid tribute to area veterans with a wonderful luncheon followed by the best rendition of the Star Spangled Banner performed by the Chamber Choir I have ever heard.

It was very special to be recognized for my military service by the wonderful musical and verbal tributes.  The faculty and students are to be commended for their efforts.  Thank you one and all.
