Writers’ Salon Submissions Sought

The C.H. Booth Library 5th Annual Young Writers’ Salon for ‘tweens and teens who like to write will be Sunday afternoon, December 9, at 3 pm. Young people in grades 6-10 are invited to read their original poetry, stories, and other work in a coffeehouse atmosphere. Snow date for Sunday, December 16.

The salon is organized by the library’s Young Adult Council and will includes special music, lighting, and décor to transform the meeting room into a relaxed coffeehouse setting. This event is a showcase for young writers in the community.

Participants must register and submit their pieces by Tuesday, December 4. There will be a rehearsal with snacks at 1 pm on the day of the program.
