Reed School's Tiny Flag
Reed Schoolâs Tiny Flag
To the Editor:
I am writing in regard to the grossly undersized flag flying in front of the Reed School. The flagpole is a prominent feature at the entrance of the school and is quite elegant (or could be) with the proper size flag.
It seems so disrespectful to our veterans to have this puny little flag flying on the day that was created for them to honor the great sacrifices they have made for all of us. I know budgets are tight, but I will be the first to step forward to donate to such a noble cause. It almost seems that we are embarrassed to display our beautiful flag. Are we not proud of who we are?
